About this position

We are looking for passionate and knowledgeable Project Managers who will work closely with the software development and project management teams to deliver high-quality, scalable projects. They will be accountable for overall project delivery, client satisfaction and management of expectations while ensuring that the work is on strategy, on time, and within budget. 

What are you going to do?

  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes, and coordinating release schedules.
  • Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with development projects.
  • Experience overseeing multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Designers, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA teams.
  • Coordinate with the team leads, prepare projects teams for kick-off, ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scopes and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure that technology solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with architectural principles, standards and roadmaps.
  • Set deadlines and monitor progress on the project and ensure quality and timeliness in the delivery of projects.
  • Exceptional client relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
  • Monitor and provide project status updates on a regular basis to various stakeholders and escalate if necessary.
  • Handling external stakeholders and timely review meetings with team members.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced.
  • Help set and fulfil the hiring plan for the team including sourcing, screening and interviewing.

You need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience with SDLC and project management tools and deep hands-on technical expertise.
  • Proven ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of responsibility.
  • Strong organizational skills, and a successful track record of coordinating between multiple project stakeholders, technical program managers, and software development teams.
  • Experience in creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans; prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals.
  • Familiar with Agile Concepts and act as the facilitator/coach for agile practices across the team.
  • Possesses excellent judgment, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and changing environments, as well as rapid work pace.
  • Experience in internet/ Startups/ product development companies is preferred.
